  • HAEGER started its activity with the manufacture and assembly of fixed line telephones and the marketing of telephone exchanges.
  • In parallel with its telecommunications activity, the company invests in the development of new products under the HÆGER brand in the field of household appliances, investing in strict quality control.
  • With the accentuated development of the household appliance business, the company felt the need to expand its facilities and construct a new building in the district of Lisbon.
  • HÆGER takes the first step towards internationalisation with the construction of a new building on the island of Santiago (Praia) in Cape Verde.
  • Official entry into the Spanish market with the opening of offices in Barcelona and the creation of HÆGER SPAIN.

The Company

Founded in 1984, it began its activity in the field of telecommunications, with the manufacture and assembly of fixed network telephones and the marketing of telephone exchanges. Seeing an opportunity for strategic diversification in the market, the company decided to explore a new business branch. Parallel to its activity in the telecommunications sector, it invests in the development of new products with its own brand HÆGER in the sector of household appliances, always betting on a strict quality control.

Its current activity focuses mainly on the small and large household appliance sector, with one of the most diversified ranges on the market.

Covering the entire national territory, the company in Portugal, in collaboration with its retail and wholesale partners, clearly invests in traditional commerce.

With the accentuated development of the household appliance business, in 2009 the company felt the need to expand its facilities with the construction of a new HÆGER building in the Lisbon district.

In 2013, the company took its first step on the road to internationalisation, with the construction of a new HÆGER building in Cape Verde, and in 2014 it took a second step with the opening of offices in Spain with the creation of HÆGER ESPAÑA.

The export market is increasingly a priority, especially in Spain, Cape Verde, other Portuguese-speaking countries and Europe.
